Milk Burfi without Mawa or Milk Powder

Ingredients

 

  • 1 Glass milk & 1.5 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Cup all purpose flour & 5 Tbsp ghee
  • 1/2 Cup sugar powder & Elaichi powder
  • Silver vark, pista and almonds for garnishing
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Prepare rabri by boiling milk and sugar in a pan until the milk thickens and reduces in quantity. Roast maida in a pan for 3 to 4 minutes. Add ghee gradually to the maida once it turns aromatic.
  • When ghee is completely absorbed by maida, add the rabri into it and give them a good mix. Once the mixture thickens and starts leaving the pan without sticking to it, switch off the stove.
  • Transfer the mixture into a mould lined with Oddy Ecobake. Spread the sweet and press it gently. Apply silver wark to the sweet. Garnish the sweets with chopped pista and almonds. Cut it into smaller pieces and enjoy.
