Mulitigrain Papad for Winter

About the Recipe

Today we are going to make multigrain papad at home. This papad will taste better than the store-bought ones and be healthier. Oddy Ecobake Perforated Liners help you steam the papad dough without greasing the steaming plate with oil or butter. Hence, there is no need for additional cleanup.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup bajri ka atta & 1/2cup gehu ka atta
  • 1/2cup makki ka atta & 1/2cup jwari ka atta
  • 1/2cup ragi/nachni ka atta & 1cup chawal ka atta
  • 10gm papad khar & 20gm sendha namak
  • 1.5tbsp chilli paste, 1tsp cumin & 1tsp ajwain
  • 2tsp sesame seeds & water as needed
  • Oddy Ecobake Perforated Liners

Directions

  • Sift all varieties of flour into a bowl and mix well. Take water in a bowl, add all the mentioned masalas to it, and stir well. Heat this water and switch off the stove when it starts boiling.
  • Add the mixed flour to the water and mix well. Transfer this mixture to your kitchen surface and mix well to prepare the dough. Make the dough into small balls, flatten them, and make a hole at their centre.
  • Steam these flattened balls in a perforated bowl lined with an Oddy Ecobake Perforated Liner. Once the balls are steamed, transfer them to a plate or sheet. Mix them well, and prepare a dough.
  • Take a portion of the dough and flatten it into a thin chapati as shown. Make similar thin chapatis with the remaining dough and arrange them on a plate or a sheet. After one or two days of drying, your multigrain bread will be ready!
