3D Guitar Cake

About the Recipe

Today we will make a theme cake that will be very popular with children. This guitar cake is both visually appealing and delicious. Oddy Ecobake helps you bake the cake in perfect shape without greasing the mold. It also helps you cut the cake into a guitar shape by making marks on it.

Ingredients

 

  • Cake premix - 6 cups, Oil - 6 tbsp & Water
  • Vanilla essence & Yellow color
  • Whipped crea, - 750 ml & Brown food gel
  • Dark chocolate - 100 gm & Cream - 150 ml
  • Mixed fruit crush & Oddy Ecobake
  • Biscuits - 3 to 4 & Cocoa powder - 1 tbsp

Directions

 

  • Prepare the cake batter by mixing cake premix with oil and water. Add vanilla essence and yellow food colour to the cake batter and mix well.
  • Transfer the cake batter to a cake mould lined with Oddy Ecobake. Bake the cake for 40 to 45 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 °C.
  • Once the cake is baked and cooled, divide it into two equal parts. Take Oddy Ecobake and cut it into the shape of a guitar.
  • Place this on the cake sponges to cut them out in the guitar shape. Soak the sugar syrup, apply whipped cream to it, and spread well.
  • Spread the crushed mixed fruit evenly over the cream. Place the second layer of cake and repeat the same process. Cut out two small and two large rectangles with the remaining cake sponge.
  • Attach them to the frosted cake such that it appears like a guitar. Frost the cake with peach-colored cream. Make dots with brown gel randomly on the sides of the cake and spread them with a scraper.
  • Dust the broader part of the cake with biscuits and cocoa powder as shown. Make designs on the guitar as shown and fill them with chocolate ganache.
  • Make cream borders at the top and bottom of the cake. Make strings with whipped cream. Your amazing 3D guitar cake is ready!
