Snowman Theme Cake for Christmas

About the Recipe

Today we are going to make a snowman-themed cake that can be made as a Christmas special. This cake is easy to make and doesn’t need any fondant. Oddy Ecobake gives your cake the perfect shape without requiring you to grease the mold and also makes demolding simple.

Ingredients

 

  • Cake premix - 180 gm, OIl - 1.5 tbsp & Water
  • Vanilla essence, Whipped cream & Blue food gel
  • Mixed fruit crush & Red and green food gel
  • Chocolate ganache & Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Prepare the cake batter by mixing the cake premix with oil, vanilla essence, and water. Transfer the cake batter to a cake mould lined with Oddy Ecobake. Bake the cake for 25 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 °C.
  • Once the cake is baked and cooled, divide it into two equal parts. Place the first cake layer on the board, soak it with pista syrup, and apply whipped cream on it. Apply the mixed fruit crush over the cream and spread it evenly.
  • Place the second and third layers of cake and repeat the same process. After crumb-coating the cake, frost it completely with the whipped cream. To make the double shaded white & blue cream, combine the whipped cream with the blue food gel.
  • Apply blue cream on the top of the cake and spread well to get a shaded effect. Make waves on one half of the cake with whipping cream. Make a snowman on the waves as shown. Decorate the hands and muffler of the snowman with red cream.
  • Make the facial features and cap of the snowman out of chocolate ganache. Use the green cream to decorate the cap. and nose. Make dots on the remaining portion of the cake randomly with white, green, red, and blue cream.
  • Make a shell design on the top and bottom of the cake with white and blue cream, respectively. You can use a small star shaped nozzle to make the borders. Your beautiful snowman-themed cake is ready!
