Special Paan Cake

About the Recipe

This cake is made with a special Indian twist. To get the paan flavor, we add papillon pan masala to the cake batter. The decoration on the cake involves mehandi designs that are perfect for mehandi functions. Oddy Ecobake helps you get the perfect shape for your cake without greasing the mold.

Ingredients

 

  • 1.5 cups cake premix, 1.5 tbsp oil & Water
  • 1/4 tsp papillon pan masala flavour
  • 30 gm chocolate & 2 tbsp cream
  • 250 ml cream & 1 tbsp pista crush in water
  • Green food gel, Golden sugar balls & Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Prepare the cake batter by mixing the cake premix with oil, papillon paan flavor, and water. Transfer the cake batter to a cake mould lined with Oddy Ecobake. Bake the cake for 25 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 °C.
  • Once the cake is baked and cooled, divide it into two equal parts. Place the first cake layer on the board, soak it with pista syrup, and apply whipped cream on it. Apply pista crush and rasmalai crush over the cream and spread evenly.
  • Place the second layer of cake and repeat the same process. After crumb coating the cake, frost it completely with the whipped cream. To make the green cream, combine the whipped cream with the green food gel.
  • Transfer it to a piping bag with an N1 nozzle. Make rosettes with green cream on one half of the cake, and make mehandi designs on the other half of the cake with melted chocolate.
  • Make a shell design at the bottom of the cake with a small star-shaped nozzle. Decorate the rosettes with golden sugar balls. Sprinkle silver spray on the cake except for the chocolate mehandi design.
