New Breakfast Recipe with Wheat Flour

Do try this new and unique breakfast recipe with just 1 cup of wheat flour for the whole family. This is a wholesome and healthy recipe. The Uniwraps paper foil helps in packing your breakfast to keep it fresh and soft for a long time.

Ingredients

 

  • Wheat flour - 1 cup, Salt as needed, Oil - 1 tbsp & Water
  • Moong dal, ginger - 2 inches & green chillies - 2
  • Potatoes - 2, Oil - 2 tbsp & Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1/4 tsp & Pav bhaji masala - 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice, red chilli flakes & coriander leaves

Directions

 

  • Prepare the dough by mixing wheat flour, salt, and oil with water. Soak moong dal for 2 hours in water. Strain water and grind soaked moong dal with ginger and green chillies.
  • In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and pav baji masala along with mashed potatoes and mix well. Mix this potato mixture with moong dal and combine well.
  • Take a portion of dough and flatten it using a rolling pin. Cut out small circles using a cup as shown. Boil water in a vessel, place a perforated vessel on it, and place these wheat circles on it.
  • Add stuffing and cover half of the circle. Seal the stuffing with the other half of the wheat circle. Cook these wheat roti circles. Once they are cooked, take them off the plate and cut them into two halves.
  • Saute these pieces in oil with red chilli flakes and chopped coriander leaves in a pan. Pack these stuffed rotis in your lunch box with Uniwraps paper foil.
