Ingredients

 

  • 1.5 cup vanilla premix (300 ml)
  • 2-3 tbsp oil and water as required.

Directions

 

  • Take a cake-baking tin and line the base with Oddy Ecobake and grease the sides with oil. Oddy Ecobake is used for baking, cooking and is easy to use.
  • In another mixing bowl, take 1.5 cups Vanilla premix (300 ml), 2-3 tbsp oil, and water as required.
  • Mix it well till a smooth and silky consistency is formed. Add water gradually depending on the consistency.
  • Immediately transfer the batter to the cake tin. Tap the cake tin until all air bubbles are removed (approx 20-30 times) and for the batter to settle evenly.
  • Take a vessel (approx 7-8 litre), place a stand and put the cake tin. Place it in the centre of the vessel. Cover the vessel and bake for 30-35 mins at a low flame.
  • After 35 mins, check with a toothpick if complete baked or not. The cake should turn a little brownish/golden on top. Once baked, removed from gas.
  • Allow it to cool and remove the cake with help of a knife from the sides. Perfect Vanilla Sponge cake is ready.
