Homemade Donuts Without Eggs

About the Recipe

Donuts are usually deep-fried from a flour dough. Make these donuts for your kids or guests. It can be made on the stove; you do not need an oven. It is made only with three main ingredients: flour, sugar, and butter, and without eggs. Since Oddy Ecobake provides the necessary greasing and the fact that it is reusable numerous times, you do not need any greasing to drop the donuts’ dough into oil.

Ingredients

 

  • Lukewarm milk or water-150 ml & Sugar-3 tbsp
  • Dry yeast-1.5 tbsp & All-Purpose flour-250 g
  • Salt-1/4 tsp & Soft butter-25 g
  • Castor sugar-For coating & Oil-for frying
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Mix milk and sugar in a bowl and stir well. Add yeast to it and mix well, then cover and rest for 10 minutes to activate the yeast.
  • Now add flour and salt to it and mix; knead to make the dough. Then add butter to it and mix till the butter is mixed.
  • Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes, until the dough doubles in size. Divide the dough into eight equal portions.
  • Roll into small balls, cover, and rest for 10 minutes. Dust the plate with flour, press with the back of the plate, and make a cut in the center as shown.
  • Cut Oddy Ecobake into the required size and keep them ready. Arrange each of them on Oddy Ecobake.
  • Drop them one by one into medium-hot oil and fry until golden brown on a medium flame. Flip and fry on both sides.
  • Remove from oil and coat on all sides with castor sugar. The soft and spongy donuts are ready to be relished.
