Pineapple Burfi

Here is the recipe of Pineapple Burfi, which is also known as Ananas Burfi. We can easily get fresh pineapple fruit in all season. It has good amount of Vitamin C & minerals. We can make different types of recipes using it. Use Oddy Uniwraps to set your burfi and store it for longer.

Ingredients

 

  • 1 Cup Chopped Fresh Pineapple
  • 2 tsp Ghee & 1/2 Cup Dessicated Coconut
  • 1/2 Cup Unsweetened Khoya/Milk Mawa
  • 3/4 Cup or as per taste Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • As required Pistachio Slivers (For Garnishing)
  • Oddy Uniwraps

Directions

 

  • Take 1 cup fresh chopped pineapple, add it into the mixture jar and blend it into a paste. Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan.
  • Keeping the flame low, add pineapple paste now. Saute it on medium heat and keep stirring.
  • After 2-3 minutes, add desiccated coconut. Mix all of this well and cook it. After 5 minutes, add khoya/mawa.
  • Mix this well and cook it. Instead of mawa, we can also use milk powder. Then add sugar.
  • Mix and cook this until sugar blends into the cooked mixture. Add cardamom powder.
  • Now you can see the mixture getting separated from ghee.
  • Turn off the flame and allow the mixture to cool for 10 minutes. Take a container and line it with Oddy Uniwraps.
  • Transfer the mixture and set it evenly. Garnish it with pistachios and keep it in the fridge for 2-3 hours.
  • Your delicious pineapple burfi is ready to serve.
