Quick Barfi

About the Recipe

Are you craving for something sweet which can be made in quickly. If you have leftover biscuits and sweets, you can easily make this barfi. Just blend everything to a perfect consistency. Let it cool down and your barfi is ready. Share this recipe with your sweet tooth friends. I have used Oddy Ecobake to set the barfi. Oddy Ecobake is grease-proof and reusable.

Ingredients

 

  • Oddy Ecobake
  • Left over Chocolate biscuit
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Leftover sweets
  • Chopped nuts

Directions

 

  • Grind the biscuits and make a fine powder. In a pan add milk, let it simmer for some time. Add leftover sweets in it. Let the sweets melt and form a rabdi like texture.
  • Make sure the mixture has no lumps. Add powdered biscuits in it. You can add any kind of powdered biscuit, if you want to add chocolate flavour in this recipe just add 2 tbsp of cocoa powder in it. Again, this is optional.
  • Mix it well and let it cook on slow flame. Cook till the mixture binds together. Switch off the gas once the mixture becomes thick.
  • Line Oddy Ecobake in a plate and add the mixture in it and spread well. Oddy Ecobake helps in easy demolding. Make sure to do this while the mixture is still hot. Give it a nice square shape with a spatula and add chopped nuts for garnishing.
  • Keep in kitchen table for 2-3 hours or you can keep in refrigerator for 1 hour. Once our sweet is set demold it from Oddy Ecobake and cut it into pieces. Our quick barfi is ready to serve.
