Rasmalai Atta Cake Recipe is a very fluffy and easy-to-make cake. It’s healthy as it’s made from Wheat flour and no maida is used. Try it out and give kids and elders a healthier choice of sweets. While baking, save the cake from sticking to the base by using Oddy Ecobake cooking paper circles. It is convenient, safe, and requires no prior greasing.

Ingredients

 

  • 1 cup lukewarm milk
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 2 tsp curd & 1/2 cup oil
  • 3/4 cup Powder Sugar
  • 1.5 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1.5 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tbsp milk powder
  • 1/2 tsp GMS powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp Rasmalai Essence
  • yellow colour & almond slices for garnishing

Directions

 

  • In a bowl, take 2/3 cup milk, add 1 tsp vinegar and 2 tsp curd. Mix it well and let it rest for 5 mins.
  • Then after the milk mixture curdles, add 1/2 cup oil, add 3/4 cup powdered sugar. Give it a good whisk till all the ingredients mix well.
  • Now keep a strainer on the bowl, and strain 1.5 cup of wheat flour, 1.5 tsp baking powder, 1.5 tsp baking soda, 2 tbsp milk powder, 1/2 tsp GMS powder, and a pinch of salt, 1/2 tsp of rasmalai essence, and yellow food color.
  • Mix all the ingredients well for a smooth batter. After a first round of mix, add a remaining 1/3 cup milk.
  • Pour the batter in a tin and granish with sliced almonds. Bake it on gas for 30-40 mins. In oven, bake it for 30-35 mins at 180 degrees. Allow it to cook and then remove from tin.
