Recipe for Homemade Cake Pops

About the Recipe

The chocolate cake pops are a recipe made from flour with cocoa powder and chocolate frosting, and they are decorated with a few sugar ball sprinkles and nuts of our choice. Since it is made of chocolate and decorated in a way to attract kids, you can try this recipe for your kid’s next birthday party. Use Oddy Ecobake that are eco-friendly and reusable, which helps you to  make a soft and smooth cake.

Ingredients

 

  • Veg Oil - 1/4 Cup (50 ml) & Powdered Sugar - 1/2 Cup (70 gm)
  • Curd - 1/4 Cup (50 gm) & Vanilla Essence - 1 Tbsp
  • Milk - 1/2 Cup & Melted Chocolate - 1/4 Cup (50 ml)
  • All Purpose Flour - 1 Cup (130 gm) & Baking Powder - 1 Tsp
  • Baking Soda - 1/2 Tsp & Pinch of Salt
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Mix oil, powdered sugar, and curd in a bowl. Add the sifted dry ingredients and melted chocolate to it. Cut and fold the ingredients together. Add milk gradually and mix well. Line a baking tray with Oddy Ecobake. Pour the batter into it.
  • Cook for 45 minutes on a low flame. Check to see if the cake is baked using a toothpick. Demould carefully and let it cool. Melt grated dark chocolate with coconut oil using the double boiler method.
  • Crumble the cake and add chocolate ganache; mix well to form a dough. Make small balls from the dough. Dip each of the balls in chocolate ganache and sprinkle with sugar balls or nuts of your choice. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. The chocolate cake pops are ready to serve.
