Red Velvet Premix and Sponge

Do try this recipe to prepare red velvet premix and cake. You can store this cake premix for future use. Oddy Brown Ecobake helps you get the perfect shape for your cake without greasing the mould. It helps to demould the cake without any hassle.

Ingredients

 

  • Vanilla premix :- 1 cup (250 ml) & Cocoa powder :- 1 & 1/2 tsp
  • White cheese powder :- 2 & 1/2 tbsp & Red velvet emulsion :- 3-4 drops
  • Red gel food color :- As needed & Oil :- 2 tbsp
  • Water :- As needed & White rose essence :- 5-6 drops
  • Oddy Brown Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Add vanilla premix, cocoa powder, white cheese powder, red velvet emulsion into a mixer jar. Grind this mixture well.
  • Sieve the mixture well. Red velvet premix will be ready. Make a smooth batter using red velvet premix, oil and water.
  • Add white rose essence into batter and mix well. Add red food gel color if needed.
  • Place Oddy Brown Ecobake in 5 inch round tin. Pour the batter into tin. And tap the tin properly.
  • Bake the cake for 40-45 min at low flame if using gas. Or for 35 min at 180 degree if using oven. Demould when cools down at room temperature.
