Motichur Ladoo Tub Cake

About the Recipe

A unique way to relish cake in a tube plus all-time favourite motichur ladoo as a combination is surely a melt-in-the mouth sweet dish. Use Oddy Brown Ecobake for lining the baking tin. This ensures easy demoulding of sponge cake.

Ingredients

  • Acrylic Crystal Plastic Cake Tub - 1
  • Vanilla premix - 1 cup (200 ml)
  • Cooking oil - 1 tbsp
  • Water - As needed
  • Water for syrup - 1 cup S
  • Sugar - 3-4 tbsp
  • Saffron Strands - As needed
  • Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Motichur Laddu - 3
  • Whip cream - 3/4 cup
  • Dry fruits - As needed
  • Oddy Brown Ecobake

Directions

  • Make a smooth batter using chocolate premix, oil and water. Place Oddy Brown Ecobake in 6-inch round tin. Pour the batter into tin. And tap the tin properly. Bake the cake for 30-35 min at low flame if using gas. Or for 25 min at 180 degree if using oven. Demold when cools down at room temperature.
  • Make 2 equal layer of sponge according to measurements of cake tub. And remove all the extra parts of sponge. Add sugar and saffron strands into water. Boil the water for 4-5 min. Add cardamom powder into it. Keep aside. Sugar syrup will be ready.
  • Whip the whipping cream until sharp peaks. Take the cake tub and complete the icing of cake using sugar syrup, whipped cream, motichur laddu and dry fruits.
  • Decorate the top surface using motichur laddu, dry fruits and silver work. Or make your favorite designs on cake using nozzles, piping bags. You can make any recipe with the leftover material of cake. Like jar cake, glass cake, cake pops, etc.
