Rich Pastry without Eggs or an Oven

This is a recipe for chocolate lovers. This cake is a decadent treat that will satisfy all your sweet cravings. This is a simple recipe made without eggs and on a gas stove. The Oddy Ecobake brown paper helps to bake a soft and spongy cake, and the demolding of the cake is quite easy.

Ingredients

 

  • Powdered sugar – ¼ cup & Fresh curd -1/4 cup
  • Oil -2 tbsp & Vanilla essence -1/4 tsp
  • Wheat flour -1/2 cup & Cocoa powder -1.5 tbsp
  • Wheat flour -1/2 cup & Cocoa powder -1.5 tbsp
  • Baking powder -1/2 tsp & Baking soda -1/4 tsp
  • Milk - 3/4 cup & Choco chips -2 tbsp
  • Dark chocolate -1/2 cup & Hot cream -2 tbsp
  • Whip cream -1 cup & Sugar Syrup

Directions

 

  • Line a baking tray with Oddy Ecobake brown paper, cut to the size of the baking tray. In a bowl, mix powdered sugar, fresh curd, oil, and vanilla essence. Add sieved wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda to it and mix well with milk.
  • Add Choco chips to it. Pour the batter into the baking tray. Cover and bake for 30 minutes at a low flame. Check to see if it is fully baked and let it cool. Make chocolate ganache by stirring dark chocolate with hot cream. Beat whipping cream until you get stiff peaks.
  • Make chocolate frosting as shown. Slice the cake into two layers. Frost both the layers of cake with sugar syrup and chocolate frosting. Place on a wire stand, pour, and spread chocolate ganache evenly. Cut pastry slices.
  • Make frosting designs as shown. Decorate with chocolate curls and golden sugar. The rich and deliciously moist chocolate pastry is ready.
