Soyabean Paratha

Soybeans are a rich source of plant-based protein, essential amino acids, and dietary fibre. This makes the paratha a great choice for vegetarians. Ingredients

 

  • Soybeans - 1 cup & water
  • Onion - 2 tbsp & Oddy Ecobake Cooking Paper Circles
  • Carrot - 2 tbsp & Green chillies
  • Cumin - 1/2 tsp & Turmeric - a tablespoon
  • Degi mirch- 1 tsp & Coriander
  • Salt as per taste & Oil
  • Garlic - 1 tbsp & Gram flour - 1 cup .
  • Whole wheat flour- half cup & Sorghum flour- 2 tbsp

Directions

 

  • In a mixing bowl, add soybean and soak it in water for sometime. Let it rest now. After a while, drain out the water from the soybean. Now blend it into a coarse paste.
  • Transfer it into a bowl and add chopped onions, grated carrot, chopped green chilly, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, chopped fresh coriander leaves and salt for taste.
  • Then add in some garlic, water and gram flour, then mix everything well.For binding, add whole wheat flour and sorghum flour as well. Mix all well and knead it into a dough.
  • Line the plate with Oddy Ecobake Cooking Paper Circles and flatten out the dough as shown in the form of a roti or paratha.
  • Grease your palm with some oil.Cook it on a tawa or non-stick pan from both sides while applying oil. Serve it hot for breakfast or pack it in tiffin for kids.
