About the Recipe

This spicy Namkeen recipe shows a spicy tea-time snack made from a dough made from gram flour, crushed spices, and spice powders. This can be made in less time with simple pantry ingredients. The dough can be easily made into thick, noodle-like spirals by using Oddy Ecobake, which is reusable, non-sticky, and very safe to use since it is made from organic cellulose.

Ingredients

 

  • Gram flour- 2 cups & Red chilli powder
  • Turmeric powder & Crushed Fennel seeds
  • Crushed carom seeds & Crushed Coriander seeds
  • Salt & Black salt
  • Kasuri methi & Garlic
  • Green chilli & Coriander leaves
  • Cumin powder & Chilli flakes
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Take the gram flour in a mixing bowl.
  • Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, crushed fennel seeds, carom seeds, coriander seeds, salt, cumin powder, black salt, salt, chilli flakes, and kasuri methi to it.
  • Add the ground garlic, green chilli, and coriander leaves paste to it and mix well.
  • Add some oil to it and crumble well. Now add enough water to it and mix to form a soft dough.
  • Take Oddy Ecobake and roll it as shown. Now fill the dough with it.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Press the dough into it to make thick, noodle-like spirals.
  • Fry them in hot oil until crisp and golden brown. Take it out of the hot oil and serve. The spicy Namkeen is ready for your tea-time snack.
