Stuffed Poha Paratha

About the Recipe

Paratha stuffed with poha mixture, a different combination that tastes tangy and delicious. This recipe is easy to make and keeps you full for longer hours. Ingredients

 

  • Wheat Flour - 2 bowls
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Mustard - ½ tsp
  • Cumin - ½ tsp
  • Asafoetida
  • Green Chillies - 3-4
  • Onion - 1
  • Tomato - 2
  • Turmeric - ¼ tsp
  • Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala - 1 tsp
  • Chat Masala -½ tsp
  • Kashmiri red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
  • Gram flour - 2 spoons
  • Flattened rice - 1 bowl
  • Ghee

Directions

 

  • Take 2 cup of wheat flour add salt to taste and water as required Knead the dough. After kneading the dough, apply oil to the dough and keep it to soak.
  • Add 1 tbsp of oil in the pan. When the oil is hot, add ½ tsp mustard, ½ tsp cumin seeds, a little asafoetida, chillies in the oil and saute. Now add finely chopped 1 onion in it and fry it. When the onion is cooked, add 2 finely chopped tomatoes and some salt to cook the onion and mix it. Cover for 2 minutes.
  • Now add ¼ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp garam masala, ½ tsp chaat masala, 1 tsp chilli powder, 2 tbsp roasted gram flour to the mixture and mix the mixture. Cover the mixture for 1-2 minutes. Then cool the stuffing.
  • After the mixture cools down, stuff the stuffing into the dough balls as shown in the video and roll the parathas. After rolling the paratha, put the paratha on the pan and roast it. Apply ghee or oil to the paratha and roast it.
