Ingredients
- Poha - 2 cups, Salt & Water - 2 cups
- White and black sesame seeds & Cumin seeds
- Oil - 2 tbsp, Onion - 1 & Capsicum - 1
- Green peas - 2 tbsp & tomatoes - 2
- Red chilli powder - 1/4 tsp & Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Jeera powder - 1/4 tsp & Pav bhaji masala - 1 tsp
- Salt & Coriander leaves
Directions
- Grind poha into a fine powder in a mixer jar. Boil water in a pan and add sesame and cumin seeds to it. Once the water comes to a boil, add the poha powder and mix well.
- Switch off the stove and prepare the poha dough with your hands. Heat oil in a pan, add tomatoes, onions, capsicum, and green peas to it and sauté well.
- Add all the masalas one by one and mix well. Once the veggies are boiled, mash them using a masher and switch off the stove. Take a small portion of the dough and make it into a ball.
- Place it on the Ecobake cooking paper and cover the ball with the remaining paper and flatten it using a plate as shown. Take a flattened dough and place the filling inside it.
- Cover with another flattened poha dough. Remove the extra dough with a cup. Fry these stuffed puris in hot oil and enjoy with sauce or chutney.
