Tasty and Crispy Vegetable Paratha

Tasty and crispy vegetable paratha recipe. It is full of nutritious vegetables and healthy for kids. This crispy vegetable paratha will make you forget pizza. Easy tiffin option for kids. Ingredients

 

  • 1.5 cups wheat flour
  • 1 tsp carrom seeds (Ajwain)
  • Salt as per taste & 1 tsp oil
  • For Stuffing: 2 finely chopped onions & 1 finely chopped capsicum, 1/2 grated beetroot, 100 gms grated paneer &100 gms grated cheese.
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder & 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin (jeera) powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala powder, 1/2 tsp chat masala,
  • Dry wheat flour for dusting and 1.5 tsp oil for frying.
  • Grated cheese, tomato sause, mayonisse and pizza seasoning for topping and garnishing.

Directions

 

  • Take 1.5 cups wheat flour, 1 tsp carrom seeds (Ajwain). Crush it in your plans and add. Next add salt as per taste and 1 tsp oil.
  • Kneed dough similar to puri dough. Don't kneed a a very soft dough. After the dough is done, let it rest for 5-10 minutes.
  • For Stuffing, take a bowl and add 2 finely chopped onions, 1 capsicum finely chopped, 1/2 grated beetroot, 100 gms grated paneer, 100 gms grated cheese. You can add vegetables as per your liking and the desired quantity.
  • Next add 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp cumin (jeera) powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala powder, 1/2 tsp chat masala, and mix all the vegetables and dry powders together. Now these mixture can make up to 4 medium sized filling for the paratha.
  • Make four dough balls and roll a thick paratha on a rolling pin. Place one filling mixture and fold it from the sides. Now dust some wheat flour and again roll out a thick paratha. Don't roll a very thin paratha as the filling might come out from the paratha while frying.
  • Now in a frying pan, take 1.5 tsp of oil and once the oil turns hot, place the paratha for frying. The oil is used to fry a nice crispy paratha. turn the sides and keep frying in oil.
  • After frying is done, cut the paratha like a pizza with the help of a pizza cutter and open the upper layer. The stuffing will be visible and the paratha will look like a flower.
  • Now garnish with grated cheese, and mixture of tomato sauce and mayonisse and pizza seasoning powder. you can wrap this tasty paratha for kids tiffin in Brown Oddy Uniwraps. It keep the parathas fresh and crispy.
