Tasty and Crunchy Mini Murukku or Chakli

About the Recipe

Try this tasty mini chakli or mini murukku, which can be stored for up to ten days. Easy to make with minimal ingredients, a beginner can also try it! You can use Oddy Ecobake to make concentric circles with chakli dough before frying them in oil.

Ingredients

 

  • Rice flour 2 cups & Roasted gram 1/4 cup
  • Salt to taste & Hing/asafoetida paste 1/2 tsp
  • Til/Sesame seeds 1 Tbsp & Cumin seeds /jeera 2 Tsp
  • Oil for frying & Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Mix rice flour, roasted gram, salt, hinge, til, and cumin seeds with hot oil and water to prepare the dough.
  • Grease the chakli maker and fill a portion of the dough in it. Make concentric circles with it on the Oddy Ecobake.
  • Add these raw chaklis into the hot oil. Fry them in hot oil until they turn a golden brown in color, and your crispy chaklis are ready.
