Crispy Chana Dal Vada

You will love the exciting crispness of these delectable dal vadas. Made with a coarse paste of soaked chana dal, these vadas have a unique texture. Oddy Ecobake helps you flatten small portions of dough into vadas before frying them in oil.

Ingredients

 

  • Chana dal - 1 cup & water
  • Green chilli -1 & Red chilli - 1
  • Hinge, Curry leaves and salt
  • Oil for frying & Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Soak chana dal in water with green and red chilies for 1 hour.
  • After 1 hour, strain the excess water and grind them into a coarse paste in a mixer jar.
  • Add hing, salt, and curry leaves to the chana dal mixture.
  • Take a small portion of the dough and flatten it using the Oddy Ecobake as shown.
  • Fry them in hot oil. Your crispy vadas will be ready!
