Tasty Gobi Paratha

About the Recipe

Gobi paratha is a simple yet delicious Indian recipe. We’ll learn to make it today with fire-roasted cauliflower and green chilies. Oddy Ecobake is used to stack your gobi parathas in a hot box without sticking to each other. It is also used to wrap your gobi parathas before packing them in your kids’ tiffin box.

Ingredients

 

  • Cauliflower - 1 & Green chillies - 2 to 3
  • Boiled potatoes - 2 & Salt - 1/2 tsp + 3/4 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 & Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves - 1/4 tsp & Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves & Wheat flour - 2 cups
  • Oil - 2 tbsp, Water as needed & Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Fire-roast cauliflower and green chillies using a phulka grill. Grate the roasted cauliflower and boiled potatoes in a bowl. Mix them well. Add all the masalas to the bowl and combine well. Cauliflower filling is ready.
  • Prepare the dough by mixing wheat flour, oil, and salt with water. Take a small portion of dough, flatten it, and fill and seal it with cauliflower filling. Cook both sides of the gobi paratha on a stove using ghee, butter, or oil.
  • Transfer the paratha to a hot box. Keep the parathas in the hot box with an Oddy Ecobake sandwiched between two parathas. You can also pack gobi parathas with Oddy Ecobake for your kids' lunch boxes.
