Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar & 1 tablespoon refined oil
  • Curd-1/4 cup & All-purpose flour, 1/2 cup
  • Baking powder-1 tsp & Baking soda—1/2 tsp
  • Milk -1/3 cup & Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
  • Vinegar-1 tsp & Sugar syrup
  • Whipping cream-1 cup & Yellow gel food color-a few drops

Directions

  • Mix powdered sugar, refined oil, and curd in a bowl without lumps. All-purpose flour, baking powder, and baking soda were sieved into the bowl. Add milk, vanilla essence, and vinegar and mix well to form a soft batter.
  • Now pour the batter into a cake tin lined up with ecobake cooking paper circles and tap the cake tin to remove air bubbles. Bake the cake for 40-45 minutes on medium heat in the oven or on the stovetop.
  • After cooling, demold the cake after cooling and cut into three layers. Place a layer of cake on a cake board, spray with sugar syrup, and apply whipping cream all over the first layer. Repeat the process for all 3 layers.
  • Frost the cake with whipping cream. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Slice a piece of cake and keep it aside. Cover with whipping cream on the cut side. Flip the cake top forward. Frost the cake with whipping cream and yellow whipping cream on the top layer.
  • Using a silicon oil brush, create a wave pattern. Decorate the cake with artificial or natural flowers and edible gold foil. Now our delicious and spongy top forward cake is ready.
