Ingredients

 

  • Semolina- 1/2 cup & Curd- 1/2 cup
  • Salt- 1/2 tsp & Oddy Uniwraps paper snack bags
  • Ghee- 1 tsp & Mustard seeds
  • Chopped curry leaves & 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped tomato & salt as per taste
  • Sambar masala- 1 tsp & Eno- 1/2 pack
  • Curry leaves for garnishing

Directions

 

  • In a bowl, take semolina and curd. Now add some salt and give it a mix. Let it rest for 15 minutes. In a pan, add some ghee and let it spread evenly.
  • Then put in some mustard seeds, chopped curry leaves, onion and green chilli. Roast it for sometime. Once it is done, add chopped tomato, salt and sambar masala. Cover it with a lid and cook it for a while. don't cook the veggies completely.
  • Add 1/2 packet of eno to semolina mixture along with some water. Give it a mix. Divide the masala into 4 parts and add batter on top of it. Cover and cook idlis.
  • Keep adding water in between. Add curry leaves for every idli. Apply some ghee and cook from both sides as shown. Cook on low flame.
  • Your delicious Spot Idlis are ready to serve with chutney. Pack them using Oddy Uniwraps paper snack bags to keep them fresh for longer.
