About the Recipe
Today we are going to learn how to make aloo buns that are tasty and soft. The aloo stuffing can be done easily with ingredients available at home. Oddy Uniwraps help you bake the buns in an OTG oven without getting stuck to the bottom of the pan.

Ingredients
- warm water - 1 cup, sugar - 6 tsp & Yeast - 3 tsp
- maida - 1.5 cups, milk powder - 4 tbsp & salt - 3/4 tsp
- milk - 1/2 cup & olive oil - 3 tbsp + 1 tbsp
- mustard seeds, curry leaves, chana dal & onion - 1
- turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp & red chilli powder - 1/2 sp
- potatoes - 4 to 5 small & salt as needed
- dry mango powder - 1/2 tsp & sesame seeds

Directions
- Activate the yeast by mixing it with lukewarm water and sugar. Let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes. Prepare the dough by mixing maida, milk powder, salt, and the activated yeast mixture.
- Once the dough is ready, let it rest for 2 hours. Meanwhile, prepare the aloo stuffing with the other ingredients. Add oil to a pan and heat it.
- Add onions, chanadal, curry leaves, mashed potatoes, salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder, and dry mango powder. Give them a good mix.
- After 2 hours, take small portions of the dough and prepare them into small balls. Flatten the balls with your hands, using oil. Fill it with the aloo stuffing and wrap it again.
- Rest the aloo-stuffed balls on small pieces of Oddy Ecobake as shown. Preheat the oven in an OTG to 200 °C. Bake the aloo balls to make aloo buns for 20 minutes in the oven. Your tasty and soft aloo buns are ready!
- In the meantime, put the water for boil for placing the dhokla batter for steaming. Now pour the batter in the tray and pat the base to settle the batter equally. Sprinkle little red chilli powder on the batter.
- Place the dhokla batter tray on the water. Cover it and let it steam for 10-15 minutes. After 12 minutes, check with a toothpick. If the toothpick comes clean, then dholkla is ready to be served.
