Homemade Royal Rajbhog Ice cream

About the Recipe

Rajbhog Ice Cream is loaded with dry fruits and made with milk, cream and cardamom powder. This mouth-watering ice cream is vibrant yellow in colours and has an amazing fragrance coming from saffron/cardamom. Oddy Ecobake helps in getting the perfect icecream without any greasing and no need for cleaning afterward.

Ingredients

 

  • 1 Cup milk
  • 1 Tbsp corn flour & 2 tbsp Milk powder
  • 1/4 Cup mawa & 1/4 Cup sugar
  • Chopped dry fruits
  • 1 Cup whipped cream & Oddy Ecobake
  • Kesar milk & 1/2 Tsp elaichi powder

Directions

 

  • In a pan, take milk and add corn flour. Stir and mix for some time. Now put in the milk powder and keep mixing continuously.
  • Once milk becomes thick, add mawa and mix it well. Now add in the sugar and mix all of the ingredients together.
  • Transfer the prepared mixture to a bowl. Now roast the chopped dry fruits at low flame. Keep it aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, take some cream and whip it with a blender until it becomes fluffy. Add the mawa mixture to it along with kesar milk. Mix all of this well.
  • Add elaichi powder, roasted dry fruits and mix it again. Rajbhog ice cream base is ready.
  • Line the freezing mould with Oddy Ecobake and add some dry fruits at the bottom followed by the batter.
  • Sprinkle some roasted dry fruits at the top as well. Cover the ice cream with an Oddy Ecobake sheet and refrigerate for about 7-8 hours.
  • Demould the ice cream once it is refrigerated. Add dry fruits on top and serve it to your guests.
