The Healthy Sprouts Sandwich is a nutritional powerhouse packed with a vibrancy of flavours. To encapsulate the freshness of the ingredients while imparting a desirable crunch, the sandwich is encased in Oddy Ecobake – a multiple-use baking paper that mitigates the need for any additional oil or greasing – before it’s placed in the griller.

Ingredients

 

  • 1/2 cup steamed sprouts & 1 small tomato (chopped)
  • 1/2 capsicum (chopped) & 1/2 chopped onion
  • Salt as per taste & Chaat masala- 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice & Tomato chilli ketchup
  • Salted Peanut butter- 1 tsp
  • Bread slices & Oddy Ecobake
  • Ghee or butter (optional)

Directions

 

  • In a mixing bowl, add spouts and all veggies along with salt and chaat masala. Then squeeze in some lemon juice and add Tomato Chilli Ketchup. Give everything a mix.
  • Now add peanut butter and mix it again. Take 4 slices of bread and spread the sprout mixture on 2 slices and cover it with the other two slices to make a sandwich.
  • Line the griller/sandwich maker with Oddy Ecobake and apply some ghee or butter on top of the bread slices to cook it evenly.
  • Now cut these sandwiches in two parts and serve them hot with ketchup or any dip.
