Atta Jeera Biscuits

Everyone in the family enjoys biscuits. Use whole wheat flour and roasted cumin to make these nutritious Atta Jeera biscuits. Your kids will love these as a snack in the evening. With Oddy Ecobake, which is easy to use, heat-resistant, and safe to use while baking on the stove, they are baked to perfection crispy and non-stick in a pan.

Ingredients

 

  • Whole wheat flour -1 cup & Besan or Gram flour -1/2 cup
  • Salt-1 tsp & Baking powder-1 tsp
  • Icing sugar -2/3 cup & Roasted cumin-1 tsp
  • Ghee-1/3 cup & Milk-1/4 cup
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Add the sifted whole wheat flour, besan flour, salt, and baking powder to a bowl and mix. Then add icing sugar, roasted cumin, and ghee to it and crumble well.
  • Then add milk to it gradually and mix well to form a soft dough. Pinch a small ball from the dough and roll it flat on your greased palms.
  • Cut on the sides to give it a square shape, and mark lines on it as shown. Sprinkle roasted cumin and arrange them on a baking plate lined with Oddy Ecobake.
  • Leave space between each of them and sprinkle roasted cumin and brush milk on each of them to make the biscuits crispy.
  • Cover and preheat a pan with a wire stand for 10 minutes on a low flame. Cover and bake the biscuits for 20 minutes on a low flame.
  • You can bake it in an oven for 15 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. The crispy Atta Jeera biscuits are ready. Store them in airtight container.
