Bakery Style Butterscotch Chocolate cake

This chocolate butterscotch cake is a layered moist chocolate cake. It has cream frosting and butterscotch syrup in the filling. Ecobake cooking paper helps in getting the perfect shape for your cake without greasing any oil, and there is no need for additional cleanup.

Ingredients

 

  • 1 cup chocolate premix & ½ cup water
  • Whipped cream & Butterscotch syrup
  • Golden sugar balls
  • 1 teaspoon crushed Green Chilli-Ginger (or paste)
  • Orange food gel & Choco chips

Directions

 

  • Mix the chocolate premix with the water to make the cake batter.Transfer the batter into a cake mould lined with Ecobake cooking paper.Bake the cake in an oven in convection mode for 25 minutes.
  • Once the cake is baked and cooled, cut it into two parts.Place the first layer of the cake on a cake board or a plate and soak it with water or sugar syrup. Apply the whipped cream and spread it uniformly.
  • Apply and spread butterscotch syrup and chocolate chips on the cream. Now place the second layer and complete the frosting.Frost the cake completely using whipped cream and level it using a card or spatula.
  • Make an orange line at the bottom of the cake by applying orange gel on a card and spreading it. Make flower designs on the top and bottom of the cake with whipped cream as shown.
  • Filled with butterscotch syrup in the centre of the cake. Garnish the design with golden sugarballs. Place a happy birthday tag at the center.
