About the Recipe

Try this Bhindi parantha for your kids’ lunchbox. It is made from ladies finger or bhindi, stirred along with dry spice powders, and can be served with parantha.   • Mustard oil-1 tbsp & Asafoetida-1/4 tsp
  • Carom seeds-1/2 tsp & Fennel seeds-1/2 tsp
  • Onion -1 & Gram flour-1 tbsp
  • Green chili & Turmeric powder
  • Red chilli powder & Salt
  • Ladies finger/Bhindi-500 g & Dry mango powder-1/2 tsp & Parantha
  • Oddy Uniwraps



  • Heat mustard oil in a pan; add asafoetida, carom seeds, fennel seeds, chopped onion, and gram flour; stir well.
  • Now add green chili, turmeric powder, and red chili powder, along with salt to it, and stir well.
  • Then add the chopped bhindi, fry it well, and cook it on a low flame. Add dry mango powder and garam masala to it and mix well; cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Pack it in a lunchbox container. Serve it with parantha wrapped in Oddy Uniwraps to keep them fresh and hot for a long time.
