In this video, Gita Kalyanaraman from Gita’s Kitchen will show you how to make a tasty tea-time snack which can be made without deep frying and in an air fryer. Here, she has used Oddy Ecobake Non-Stick liners which are perfect for Air fryer/cake pan/steamer/Frying pan.

Ingredients

 

  • Plain flour - 1/2 cup
  • Wheat flour - 1/2 cup
  • Semolina/suji - 2 tsp
  • Carom seeds/ajwain - 1 tsp
  • Hing/asafoetida - a pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander and mint leaves
  • Green chilli - 2
  • Roasted gram - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 3 tsp

Directions

 

  • Take plain flour, wheat flour and Semolina in a bowl. Add sesame seeds and crushed carom seeds or ajwain to this.
  • Add hing, salt and mix all dry ingredients well together. Make a thick paste of coriander leaves mint leaves green chilli roasted gram and salt.
  • Add paste to flour and then add oil and mix all of this well. Make a tight dough and rest it for 15 minutes.
  • Make balls of the dough and roll into large circles slightly thin. Cut it into desired shapes with a cutter.
  • Preheat airfryer at 180 degrees for 3 minutes. Line airfryer basket with Oddy Ecobake non-stick liners for airfryer.
  • Place the cut namakparas in a layer on the sheet. Airfry at 180 deg for 12 minutes and then allow it to cool at room temperature.
  • Enjoy crispy chatpata namakparas with tea. They can be stored in an airtight box for later.
