Pineapple Cake Recipe | Genius Trick to Decorate your Cake

Bakery Style Pineapple flavoured cake at your home. Follow this simple and easy recipe to decorate your cake beautifully. Best thing is if you are not experienced in baking and decorating cake, you can definitely give it a try

Ingredients

 

  • 1/3 cup curd/yogurt
  • 3/4 cup powdered Sugar
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 tsp pineapple essence
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup all purpose Flour
  • 1 table spoon Neutral gel
  • 3/4 cup of White Chocolate
  • Whipped Cream

Directions

 

  • To make Cake Base:
  • We will make our cake in cooker, so remove the whistle and rubbre sear from the cooker and preheat it for 5-7 mins on low flame.
  • Take a mixing bowl and add 1/3 cup of fresh curd, 3/4 cup of powdered sugar. Mix them properly. Add 1/4 cup ( 60ml) of oil, please make sure oil should be unflavoured, and 1 teaspoon ineaple essence and 1/4 cup of milk and mix them properly.
  • Use a sieve and strain 1 cup(140 gm) maida, 1 teaspoon baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda into the bowl. Mix them properly and make smooth and lumpfree batter.
  • Transfer the batter into the cake tin, which is lined with Oddy Ecobake cooking and baking paper. Give it a tap to get rid of air bubbles.
  • Place the cake tin in the cooker and bake it for 40-45 mins on low flame. After 45 mins, check your batte with toothpick, if it came out clean, you cake is perfectly baked.
  • For Frosting and Decoration:
  • Cut the cake in 3 parts and frost it with the whipped cream smoothly using a spatula or card. Make a swirl patter on top of it using a silicon brush. Put cake in freeze for sometime, meanwhile we will prepare frosting.
  • Take a pan and add 3/4 cup of chopped white chocolate, add 1/3 cup of whipping cream, mix them properly and add 3 tablespoon of milk. Give it a mix and add 1 tablespoon of Neutral gel for glaze.
  • Melt the chocolate till it acquire smooth consistency, and let it cool down to room temperature.
  • Take Disposable glass and toothpick, make the holes in the glass using toothpick around the sides of the glass, and place it on the top of the cake. Divide the white chocolate glaze in two parts, leaving out 4 tablespoon of glaze in pan, transfer the rest in a jug.
  • Add 2 drops of skyblue gel food color and 2 drops of green gel food color and 1 drop of white gel color in the jug and mix it. Add 2 drops of yellow gel food color to the remaining glaze and spread out eavenly.
  • Pour the glaze from the jug into the glass places on the cake, it'll pour out through the holes and spread evenly on the cake. After sometime gnache itself will cover the most of the cake, while the left out portion needs to be done by using a spatula.
  • Now, pour the left out glaze of yellow color into the glass, as shown in the video. Take some whipped cream in star shape nozzle, and make border at the bottom of the cake to give it a finish. And your cake is ready to serve
