Chikoo Burfi Without Milk or Milk Powder

Today we are going to learn how to make Chikoo Burfi. We can make this burfi within 20 minutes. You need only 4 ingredients to make the chikoo burfi. Oddy Ecobake helps set the burfi without greasing the mold, and there is no need for additional cleanup.

Ingredients

 

  • 500 grams Fresh Chikoo Fruit
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Unsweetened Khoya/Milk Mawa
  • As required Almonds Slivers (For Garnishing)
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Wash and peel the chikoos. Grate them as shown and remove the seeds.
  • Transfer the grated chikoo to a pan and add sugar to it. Let the chikoo and sugar mix well.
  • Once the sugar completely melts and combines with the chikoo, add unsweetened khoya or milk mawa to the chikoo sugar mixture.
  • Switch off the stove as the ghee starts separating from the chikoo mixture.
  • Transfer the mixture to a tray lined with Oddy Ecobake. Garnish the burfi with chopped almonds and refrigerate it for 2 hours.
  • After 2 hours, demold the sweet and cut it into small pieces. Your tasty chikoo burfi is ready.
