Chocolate Cake With Useful Baking Tips

About the Recipe

Chocolate cake with a kitty face design is a lovely kids’ cake. Try it out for kids’ birthday celebrations. Line the cakes with Oddy Ecobake Bown for even baking of base and seamless removal of cake from the tin. It s easy and healthier to use.

Ingredients

 

  • Ready chocolate cake batter of premix
  • 6 inch cake tin, Oddy Ecobake Brown
  • sugar syrup or water
  • chocolate ganaseh, fresh cream
  • few chocochips, toothpick, 250-300 ml whipped cream
  • pink color, pipping bag,
  • N46 nozzle, star nozzle, birthday tag

Directions

 

  • Prepare chocolate cake batter with premix. Line a 6 inch cake tin with Oddy Ecobake Brown. Pour the cake batter in the cake tin.
  • Bake it for 30-35 mins at 180 degree celsius. After baking allow it to cool. Remove from cake tin. Cut the top brown layer of the cake.
  • Cut the cake into three layers. Place a layer and soak it with sugar syrup or water. Prepare chocolate ganashe and add fresh cream and mix both together to make filing.
  • Now on the layer add this filing and even it smoothy. Add few chocochips. Repeat the steps for the rest of the cake. Complete the crumb coating on all sides.
  • On the top part of the cake, with a toothpick draw the outline of the face of a kitty. Take whipped cream mixed with pink color in a pipping bag with N46 nozzle.
  • Make lines with on the sides. Now with star nozzle fill the top cart with pink cream with dots excluding the kitty face.
  • Fill the kitty face with white dots with start nozzle, and other features of the face with different cream colors. Outline the face of the kitty, its eyes and whiskers with chocolate ganashe. Place happy birthday tag and cake is ready.
