Rasmalai Cake

Rasmalai Cake is very simple yet has the taste of advanced royal rasmalai cake. Lining the cake tin before baking is important. So try Oddy Ecobake Cooking Paper circles as it comes in pre-cut sizes and is easy to use. It helps in seamless cake removal and is grease proof.

Ingredients

 

  • 100 gm premix, 50-60 gm water, and 1-2 tbsp oil
  • Rasmalai essence and yellow color
  • 5 inch cake tin, Oddy Ecobake Cooking Paper Circles
  • rasmalai milk, 1 cup whipped cream
  • chopped rasmalai pieces, rasmalai ganashe
  • big star nozzle, small star shaped nozzle
  • finely sliced almonds and silver colored sugar balls

Directions

 

  • In a mixing bowl, take 100 gm premix, 50-60 gm water, and 1-2 tbsp oil. Mix well and form a smooth batter. Add rasmalai essence and yellow color.
  • Mix well for smooth consistency. Line a 5 inch cake tin with Oddy Ecobake Cooking Paper Circles. Pour the batter in the tin, bake it for 15-20 mins at 180 degree celsius.
  • Allow the cake to cool. Remove from cake tin and cut it into three layers. Place a layer turntop table. Coat the layer with rasmalai milk.
  • Squeeze the rasmalai milk from rasmalai for this step. Now fill it with whipped cream and chopped rasmalai pieces. and rasmalai ganashe.
  • Repeat the steps to complete the cake. Now take yellow cream and do a thick layer of cream. With a flat scrapper, even the top and sides of the cake.
  • With a triangle comb, give the idea of cake a texture. Now take rasmalai ganache and pout it on the cake and with spatula spread it gently.
  • Give the sides a drip effect with the same ganache. Make two white color roses with big star nozzle and smaller stars with a another star shaped nozzle. Garnish with finely sliced almonds and silver colored sugar balls.
