Christmas Special Spicy Cupcakes

Try these special spicy cupcakes for your Christmas holidays. This is a child-friendly recipe, as it does not contain alcohol and can be made without adding eggs. Oddy Ecobake can be used as a DIY cupcake liner that helps in the easy demolding of the cupcakes.

Ingredients

 

  • Mixed dry fruits & Orange juice - 1/2 cup
  • Curd - 2/3rd cup & Oil - 1/4 cup
  • Sugar - 3/4 cup & Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
  • Maida - 1 cup & Cocoa powder - 1/4 cup
  • Milk powder - 1/4 cup & Baking powder - 1 tsp
  • Baking soda - 1/4 tsp & Nutmeg powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Cinnamon powder - 1/2 tsp & Dry ginger powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Cashew nuts, choco chips, tutti frutti & Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Soak the dry fruits in orange juice for 1 hour or more. Add and mix the wet ingredients in a bowl. Sift the dry ingredients into the wet and combine well to form the cake batter.
  • Add the spice powders, like nutmeg, dry ginger, and cinnamom powders. Add the soaked dry fruit and some orange juice, if needed. Mix them well. Transfer the batter to a cupcake tray lined with Oddy Ecobake.
  • Add cashews, chocolate chips, and tutti frutti to the cupcakes. Bake the cupcakes for 17 minutes at 170 degrees C. Once the cupcakes are baked and cooled, demold them. Enjoy the spicy cupcakes.
