Christmas Theme Cake

 

 

About the Recipe

Bring Santa to your home as you celebrate Christmas with your family and surprise them with this amazing cake. The cake is created from flour and powdered sugar, and it is adorned with whipped cream snowmen and cake crumble Christmas trees. Utilizing Oddy Ecobake, which can be cut to your desired size and is non-stick, the cake is baked flawlessly smooth and without sticking to the baking pan.

Ingredients

 

  • Curd -¼ cup & Oil-¼ cup & Powdered sugar-¾ cup + 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp & All-purpose flour 1 cup & Cocoa powder- 3 tbsp +2 tbsp
  • Milk powder-2 tbsp & Baking powder- 1 tsp & Baking soda- ¼ tsp
  • Sugar syrup: Water (1 tbsp) + powdered sugar (1 tbsp) + chocolate syrup
  • Mixed fruit crush & Magic red gel food colour & Green gel food color
  • Small Star-shaped nozzle & Star sugars & Sugar sprinkles
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Take curd, Oil, vanilla essence, and powdered sugar to a bowl and whisk well. Then add the sifted dry ingredients to it and mix well. Add milk to it gradually and mix well to form a smooth batter.
  • Line a 6-inch baking Pan with Oddy Ecobake. Transfer batter into it and spread and tap well. Bake the cake for 40 minutes at 160 degrees Celsius. Let it cool completely and demould.
  • Beat the whipping cream in a bowl until stiff peaks form. Mix a portion of cream with cocoa powder and powdered sugar and beat well to get chocolate cream.
  • Divide the cake into three portions and keep the top layer aside. Spread chocolate cream on the cake board and place a layer of cake on it; soak with sugar syrup; spread whipping cream; and sprinkle crushed fruit on it. Repeat the process for other layers, too.
  • Cream coat the cake with chocolate cream. Now mix chocolate cream with whipping cream and magic red gel food colour to make red cream. Mix a portion of whipping cream with green gel food colour to make green cream.
  • Spread whipping cream on the top and tap to create a pattern. Spread the red cream on the sides and smooth using a spatula. Crumble the top layer of cake and make it into a cone to make Christmas trees.
  • Decorate it with a small star-shaped nozzle and sugar sprinkles. Place them on the cake using scissors. Make a snowman using cream filled in a piping bag as shown.
  • Place them on the cake and decorate as shown. Place a Santa Claus doll on the top. Drip the cream on the sides using whipping cream diluted with water. Place a "Happy Christmas" tag on top. The special Christmas theme cake is ready.
