Crispy Rice Pakoda

Ingredients

 

  • Rice
  • 3 Potatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 green chillies
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • Oil

Directions

 

  • Take rice and soak in water for 4-5 hours.
  • Once soaked, drain the water and add the rice in a mixer.
  • Boil 3 potatoes and peel the skin. Add them to the mixer along with the rice and grind it.
  • Take it in a bowl, add 1 tsp Salt, 3-4 tsp green chilli, 1 tsp jeera and mix well. If you feel the batter is very watery, you can add gram or wheat flour.
  • Now heat some oil in medium flame. After hearing, lower the flame and use the batter to make small pakodas and fry them. Once fried, remove them.
  • Use Oddy uniwrap and remove the excess oil. You can also use it to wrap it for later use.
