Easy Badam Halwa With Ingredients Available At Home

Badam Halwa is a sweet recipe made with wholesome and nutritious almonds. This can be made under 30 minutes. Ecobake helps in keeping your kitchen surface clean and mess free.

Ingredients

 

  • 1 cup almonds
  • 2 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup Jaggery
  • 1/4 cup ghee

Directions

 

  • Soak 1 cup of almonds for 8 hours and peel the skin. Grind the peeled almonds in a mixer jar using 1/2 cup of milk. Transfer this badam paste into a non-stick pan.  
  • Keep the flame between low and medium and slowly add 2 cups of milk to this paste. Let this boil for a few minutes until the paste thickens.
  • Now add 1 cup of jaggery to the pan and mix well. Stir until the jaggery is completely dissolved. Take 1/4 cup of ghee and add 2 tbsp to the mix at regular intervals.
  • Take a pinch of paste into your wet hands and check if it forms a ball shape. If it forms a ball shape, transfer the paste onto Ecobake cooking paper and let it cool down completely.
  • Now take another Oddy Ecobake cooking paper and cut it into small squares. Pack 2 to 3 table spoons of badam halwa in each paper square. You can store this halwa for 10 to 15 days.
