Crunchy Tea-Time Biscuits

About the Recipe

Do try these crunchy and crispy teatime biscuits, both with and without an oven. It is simple to make with easily available ingredients. You can use Oddy Brown Ecobake to bake the biscuits in a kadai. It’s perfect to cook everything – baking bread, cakes, cookies, rolls, croissants and more.

Ingredients

 

  • Maida-1 and 1/4 cup- 120 gms
  • besan-1 cup- 100 gms
  • semolina-2 tbsp- 20 to 30 gms- 1/4 cup
  • butter-100 gms-1 cup(melted)
  • powdered sugar- 1 cup- 100 gms
  • baking powder/baking soda- 1/2 sp each
  • cardamon nutmeg powder- 1 sp
  • Oddy Brown Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Sieve maida and besan into a bowl and add rava to it. Beat sugar and butter in a bowl until they become creamy in texture. Mix both and prepare the dough by adding baking soda and cardamom-nutmeg powder.
  • Make small balls with the dough and slightly flatten them. Garnish the biscuits with pistachios and cashew. Transfer them to a baking tray lined with Oddy Brown Ecobake.
  • Transfer the remaining biscuits to a plate lined with Oddy Brown Ecobake. Bake the cookies in an oven for 15 minutes at 180 °C and in a kadai for 20 minutes. Once the cookies are baked and cooled, enjoy them.
