Dates Roll Barfi

Ingredients

 

  • Oddy Ecobake
  • Dates deseeded 1/4th kg
  • Cashew, almons and pista chopped ½ cup
  • Peanuts roasted ½ cup
  • Poppy seeds 2 tbsp
  • Ghee 2-3 tbsp
  • Dry coconut shredded ½ kg

Directions

 

  • Transfer the dates in mixer and grind in mixer. In a kadai add grated dry coconut and roast it nicely and transfer in a bowl. In the same kadai add ghee and chopped nuts, roast for some time. Add peanuts roast for a while and transfer in a bowl.
  • In the same kadai add poppy seeds and roast for a while, transfer in a bowl. Again, add some ghee on the kadai, add dates and mix well. Add roasted dry fruits, poppy seeds and roasted coconut, mix well. Add a little ghee if needed to mix the ingredients nicely.
  • Switch of the flame and transfer the mixture in a plate. Let it cool for some time. Mix the dates mixture nicely to form a dough consistency. Make it in a roll shape.
  • Take Oddy Ecobake add poppy seeds on it. Oddy Ecobake is grease-proof and non-sticky, perfect for cooking and baking purposes. Add the dates roll dough and make a cylindrical shape. All the poppy seeds will stick on the roll.
  • Now roll the dates dough with Oddy Ecobake tightly. And keep in refrigerate for 2 hours. Remove after 2 hours. And cut int equal pieces. Dates roll barfi is ready.
