Delicious Cajun Potato

The Cajun potato starter recipe is made with mashed potatoes and creamy mayonnaise sauce. It is an extension of the popular meat-based Cajun recipe for vegetarians or non-meat eaters. It is one of the highlights and a popular starter. The Ecobake paper is used to cook the potatoes and make them non-sticky and crisp.

Ingredients

 

  • Baby potatoes-200g & Corn flour-1 tbsp
  • All purpose flour (Maida)-1 tbsp & Milk-1/4 cup
  • Cheese slice-1 & Onion powder-1/2 tbsp
  • Garlic powder-1/2 tbsp & Black pepper powder-1/2 tbsp
  • Pasta mix-1/2 tbsp & Maiyonese-1/4 cup
  • Red chili powder-1 tbsp & Lime juice-1 tbsp

Directions

 

  • Wash the baby potatoes well and cook them. Give it a press and flatten without removing the peel and keep it aside. Mix corn flour and maida with salt with enough water.
  • Dip the potatoes in this batter and arrange them on a baking tray lined with Ecobake cooking paper for 20 minutes in a preheated oven. To make sauce, boil milk and add a cheese slice.
  • Add pepper powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and pasta mix to it and let it boil until it is a bit thick. Transfer this sauce to a bowl and let it cool. Grease the potatoes with oil and bake for another 15 minutes.
  • Add maiyonese to the sauce and churn it. Add chili powder, lime juice and mix. Arrange the baked potatoes on a plate, pour the sauce over them, and decorate with spring onions or coriander. Now our juicy Cajun potatoes are ready to serve.
