Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup all purpose flour & 1/4 Cup sugar powder
  • 1.5 Tbsp cocoa powder, 2 Tbsp oil & 1/2 Cup butter milk
  • 1/2 Tsp eno, 1 Tsp milk & 1/2 Cup whip cream
  • Chocolate ganache & Golden sugar balls

Directions

  • Add the dry ingredients through a sieve into a bowl and mix well. Add the wet ingredients one by one, stirring and combining well. Add eno with some milk to the batter and mix well.
  • Transfer the batter into a pan lined with Ecobake cooking paper. Bake the cake for 12 minutes by closing it with a lid. Once the sponge is baked, trim the outer layer to make it into a square.
  • Cut the square sponge into two equal halves. Take the first half of the sponge and apply chocolate frosting on it and spread it well. Prepare the chocolate frosting by mixing and whisking the chocolate ganache with whipped cream.
  • Place another half of the sponge on top and apply chocolate frosting to it as well. Cut the sponge into small pieces. Coat them with chocolate ganache. Decorate the pastry with ganache and sugar balls as shown. Your double chocolate pastry is ready.
