Easy Hot Choco Lava Cake

This hot choco lava cake can be made by anyone, you do not need to be a pro-baker to make this recipe. This is a decadent dessert that is perfect for any occasion. All you need is a handful of ingredients, and a fudgy chocolate treat is ready in no time. Bake your cakes soft and spongy so they do not need a grease while baking using Oddy Ecobake, which is reusable and safe to use.

  • Milk-1/2 Cup & Oil-2 Tbsp
  • Vanilla essence-1/2 Tsp & Powdered sugar -1/4 Cup
  • Wheat flour-1/2 Cup & Milk powder-1 Tbsp
  • Cocoa powder-1 Tbsp & Baking powder-1/4 Tsp
  • Baking soda-1/2 Tsp & Vinegar-1/2 Tsp
  • Dark chocolate-100 gm & Hot cream-2 Tbsp & Golden sugar balls
  • Oddy Ecobake



  • Line a steel katori with Oddy Ecobake and cut to the size of the katori. Take milk in a bowl and add oil, vanilla essence, and powdered sugar to it.
  • Add the sifted dry ingredients to it, whisk, and mix well. The batter is ready. Place a wire stand in a kadai and preheat for 5 minutes.
  • Pour the batter into the steel katori and fill it up to three-fourths full. Cover and bake for 20 minutes on a low flame. Remove the lid and check using a toothpick.
  • Take dark chocolate in a bowl and mix it with hot cream. Stir and melt to make chocolate ganache. Demould the cake and let it cool.
  • Make a cavity in the center of each cake using a spoon, as shown, and pour hot chocolate ganache into it. Garnish with golden sugar balls. The fudgy and hot chocolate lava cake is ready.
