Thumbs Up cake is one of the most amazing chocolate cake recipes. We can make this Thumbs Up cake without eggs or any mould. Ecobake helps in getting the perfect shape without any greasing and no need for cleaning afterwards.

Ingredients
- 3/4 Cup milk
- 1/2 Tsp vinegar
- 1 Cup all purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 Tsp baking powder
- 1/4 Tsp baking soda
- 300 gm dark chocolate
- 3/4 Cup whip cream
- chocolate ganache
Directions
- Add 1/2 tsp of vinegar to 1 cup of milk. Stir and let it rest for 10 minutes. Seive and add 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tbsp cocoa powder, 1 tbsp baking powder, and 1/2 tsp baking soda to a bowl.
- Add 1/4 cup oil to the dry ingredients and add the prepared buttermilk. Whisk and mix the ingredients well. Line the cake pan with Oddy Ecobake cooking paper and fill with the batter. Place the wire stand and pre-heat it for 5 minutes.
- Now place the mould in the oven for baking after preheating the stand. Cover with a lid and bake on a low flame for 35 minutes. Check if the cake is cooked properly and then switch off the stove. Take an empty thumbs-up bottle and remove the sticker. Cut the bottle into two halves and clean it with a tissue.
- Pour 300gm of dark chocolate in a bowl and melt it using the double boiler method. Coat the inner layer of the bottles with the melted chocolate. Fill the inner layer of the bottles with a second layer of chocolate. Similarly, add one more layer to the inner layers.
- Remove the cap and demould the chocolate from the top and bottom pieces of the bottle. Add 3/4 cup of whipped cream to a bowl and whisk until fluffy. Add the chocolate ganache and whisk again. Now the chocolate frosting is ready. Take the cake out of the mould and remove the Oddy Ecobake cooking paper.
- Slice the cake into two halves and make circular cuts from both the cakes. Crush and make crumbles from the leftover cake. Add a layer of cake crumbles to the bottom chocolate piece of the coke bottle and a layer of chocolate frosting on that.
- Add chocolate sponge made from the cake as the next layer and add chocolate frosting onto it. Repeat this until the upper part of the chocolate mould is filled. Now add melted chocolate to the edges of the bottles. Place the upper part of the thumbs up cake on the lower part and add melted chocolate on top. Stick on a bottle cap and cut the cake using a hot knife.
