Nariyal Barfi

About the Recipe

Make tasty and market style Nariyal Barfia t home without using whole dry milk or milk powder at all. This recipe is simple to make and you must try it at home.

Ingredients

 

  • 2 tsp Desi Ghee
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • Pinch of Cardamom Powder
  • ½ Glass of Milk
  • 1 ½ cup Desiccated Coconut

Directions

 

  • Take a pan and add 2 tsp of desi ghee to it, add 1 cup of sugar and start stirring. Make sure to keep the pan on high flame and keep stirring for about 1-2 mins.
  • After 2 mins sugar will melt and get caramelized, add ½ glass of milk to it and keep stirring, after sometime when milk thickens and mix properly with sugar, add desiccated coconut to it and mix them properly on low to medium flame for 1-2 mins.
  • After 2 mins turn off the gas and take a plate or cake tin lined with Oddy Ecobake baking and cooking paper, and transfer the mixture on it, spread it evenly and put it in the fridge for sometime.
  • Demold the recipe and cut it into pieces, and your barfi is ready to serve
