New & Easy Way To Decorate Chocolate Cake

About the Recipe

Today we are going to show you how to decorate your chocolate with homemade garnishes. We do not need any piping bags or nozzles to decorate our cake. Oddy Ecobake cooking paper circles help to get the perfect shape for your cake without greasing, and there is no need for additional cleanup.

Ingredients

 

  • Cake batter & Chilled whipping cream - 1 cup
  • Dark chocolate chopped - 1/2 cup & Milk - 5 tbsp
  • Powdered food colors - Yellow & Red
  • White chocolate - 100 gm & Golden sugar balls
  • Oddy Ecobake Cooking Paper Circles

Directions

 

  • Prepare cake batter and transfer it to a cake mould lined with Oddy Ecobake cooking paper circle. Bake the cake for 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 170 °C. Once the cake is baked and cooled, cut it into 3 parts and finish the frosting.
  • Prepare chocolate ganache by melting dark chocolate and milk together in a mixing bowl using the double boiler method. Place the frosted cake on a wire stand with a plate under it. Pour the prepared ganache on the cake.
  • Spread it uniformly on all sides of the cake with a spatula. Prepare chocolate garnishes by sprinkling red and yellow food colors in alternate stripes on a sheet and spreading them lightly. Pour the white chocolate ganache on the sheet and spread it.
  • Once the chocolate ganache is semi-set, cut it into squares and triangles as shown. Make holes in the triangle-shaped garnish using a nozzle. Decorate your cake with these garnished and golden sugar balls as demonstrated.
