Paneer Frankie

About the Recipe

An easy and simple snack recipe made with leftover roti or chapati and paneer stuffing. Paneer Frankie is generally made and served as a street food snack, but can be easily served for lunch and dinner too. It is quite popular with all age groups, but is hugely popular with the kids and can be an ideal tiffin box snack recipe.

Ingredients

 

  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Sliced onion and green capsicum
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Tomatoes - 2 medium
  • Maggi masala - 1 sachet
  • Cottage cheese - 300 grams
  • Fresh cream or malai - 2 tsp
  • Black pepper powder

Directions

 

  • In a kadhai, take oil and add onion and green capsicum. Put some salt to it.
  • Now add sliced tomatoes. Mix it well and cook it till all of it becomes mushy.
  • Add 1 sachet of Maggi masala and paneer. Now put some fresh cream and mix. Also, sprinkle some black pepper powder.
  • Spread this filling on one side of the roti or chapati and make it in the form of a Frankie roll.
  • To pack it in tiffin, we will use Oddy Uniwraps paper foil as it is hygienic and a great addition to our kitchens.
