Quick Mango Cake Recipe

About the Recipe

Make mango cake with decoration following the easy steps mentioned in the recipe. Oddy Ecobake brown baking and cooking paper is used for lining the baking dish. After baking, Oddy Ecobake comes out easily, and due to its non-sticky and non-greasy properties, baking becomes hassle-free.

Ingredients

 

  • 100 gms premix
  • 50 gms water
  • Mango essence (optional)
  • 1 and ½ tsp oil
  • Mango custard cream 1 cup
  • Whipped cream 1 cup

Directions

 

  • In a bowl add premix, water, mango essence and oil. Mix it with a whisk. The batter should be of medium consistency. In a 5-inch tin, cover the base with Oddy Ecobake brown baking and cooking paper due to which the cake will not stick in the baking pan. Since Oddy Ecobake is non-sticky. Add the cake batter and spread evenly.
  • Bake it for 25-30 mins on preheated oven for 180-degree Celsius. Since the cake is of half kg, we are just going to cut it into 2 layers. Add one layer spray a little water on it and spread mango custard cream on top of it. Add some mango crush on top of it, mix and spread well.
  • Add another layer and now spread mango custard cream on top of it. Ensure that the cake is well coated so that no cake sponge is visible. Now on the sides and top of the cake coat with white cream and spread evenly.
  • Use a card to spread the cream evenly and make designs as shown in the video. Take neutral gel and add some water and coat the cake. With the help of the Noor 46 nozzle make a shell border as shown in the image. Add dots with the help of chocolate ganache.
